Try the following methods to fix problems with Google Play.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps & notifications > See all apps.
- Scroll down and tap Google Play Store.
- Tap Storage > Clear Cache.
- Next, tap Clear data.
- Re-open the Play Store and try your download again.
If you still can't download after you clear the cache & data, you will need to restart your device.
- Press and hold the Power button of your device until a menu pops up.
- Tap Power off or Restart if that is an option.
- If needed, press and hold the Power button until your device turns on again.
We would also advise you to clear the data and cache if you still can't download the app:
Scroll down to Google Play Store app and then tap on Clear Data and Clear Cache. Clearing the cache will help you fix the download pending problem in Play Store. If clearing the cache and data in your Google Play Store didn't work, you may need to go into your Google Play Services and remove the data and cache there. Doing this is easy. You need to go into your Settings and hit Application manager or Apps. From there, find the Google Play Services app (the puzzle piece).
